This strategy was developed by Community Vibe, with Bricolage Design mapping and future planning for walking and cycling connections in 5 towns, including Maryborough. The strategy sets development standards for future capital works around on-road and off-road bike lanes and paths, walking (shared) paths and other infrastructure related to getting these townships more active. A key initiative from this project is the future development of an Urban Bike Park at Bristol Hill in Maryborough. All mapping produced syncs with Central Goldfields Council’s GIS information allowing council to update as further changes to infrastructure are made.
