Creative Cubby Project

The Creative Cubby Project is an initiative founded by artist Pauline O-Shannessy-Dowling, architect Talina Edwards and landscape architect Liz Cummins (Bricolage Design) to encourage children’s creativity and play using cardboard boxes. The project made appearances as free events at the Ballarat Agricultural Show in October 2014,  the Ballarat Begonia Festival in March 2015, and Ballarat Heritage Weekend in May 2015, providing engaging play for over 4000 children and their families.

Hours of entertainment, saw amazing structures and creations made by children, parents and grandparents alike. With a clear message of sustainability, the Creative Cubby Project recycled or reused 95% of materials for subsequent projects.
